Farewell Friends

 

My time in this course has come to an end, which means this will be my last blog.  I have had a wonderful experience writing for you all every week and I may write blogs again in the future if time permits.  Throughout the duration of the course, I had learned many different lessons in leadership and media.  A lot of which I was able to share with you every week. 

                One of my favorite takeaways from this course was from Drew Dudley’s TED Talk here.  He started the talk by asking the audience, “How many of you are completely comfortable with calling yourselves a leader?”  This question took the audience back and not as many hands went up as one would think.  I just wanted to leave my las blog as a reminder to everyone that you are a leader.  You are a leader whether you think so are not.  Most people are looked up to in one way or another. 

                Go out there and be the best leader you can in whatever your circumstance is.  We all have the power to change lives for the better.  When someone changes your life make sure you tell them the impact that they had.  Many times, people will change the trajectory of your life without knowing it so be sure that you tell anyone when they change your life.
